Expanded Polyethylene Foam (EPE), also known as pearl cotton or Teguron, is made by physically foaming low-density polyethylene resin with gas to form numerous independent air bubbles.

EPE is a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure with a high recycling rate, extremely low water absorption, lightweight and clean white appearance. It offers excellent sound insulation, thermal insulation, cold retention, cushioning, and shock absorption. It is 100% non-toxic and odorless, and is widely used in packaging for electronic products, complete bicycles for export, tool box liners, furniture, agricultural product protection, and various industrial cushioning applications.
