Expanded Polyethylene Foam (EPE), also known as pearl cotton or Teguron, is made from low-density polyethylene resin through physical foaming with gas, creating numerous independent bubbles. EPE has a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, with high recyclability and very low water absorption. The material is lightweight and pure white, offering excellent sound insulation, thermal insulation, cold preservation, and cushioning/shock absorption. It is 100% non-toxic and odorless, widely used in electronic products, complete bicycle exports, hand tool box padding, furniture, agricultural product protection, and various industrial cushioning packaging. |
